David M. Poppers, MD
Dr. Poppers is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Poppers received his medical education at New York University, where he obtained his MD and a PhD in immunology in 2001.
Dr. Poppers underwent residency training in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston (2001-2004), and received subspecialty training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Cornell/New York Presbyterian Hospital in NYC (2004-2007). Dr. Poppers underwent additional subspecialty training in Advanced Therapeutic Interventional Endoscopy at Lenox Hill Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Gregory Haber (2007-2008).
In his spare time, he is an avid alpine skier, an aspiring cyclist, and enjoys travel, movies, cooking, and exploring New York City.
