Vladimir Onefater, MD, PMR

Upon graduation of medical school, Dr. Vladimir Onefater received rigorous training in various medical specialties involving the treatment of patients with injuries and diseases of joints, bones, and muscles. He completed his core Surgical Residency Training at NYU Langone Medical Center, followed by three years of residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) at New York University's Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation.

Dr. Onefater is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and is a Fellow member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

As a respectable researcher, Dr. Onefater has dedicated significant amounts of his time to research on Spinal Stenosis and Spasticity. His work on Spasticity has been presented at conferences, and was published in PMR Archives in 2001.

Dr. Onefater's areas of expertise are sports medicine, pain management, musculoskeletal disorders, and physical and neurological rehabilitation. He is proficient with a variety of injection techniques, including joint injection, peripheral nerve blocks, and collagen and steroid injection. He is well known for his ability to communicate with patients when it comes to discussing surgical options and necessities.
