William Huang, MD

William Huang, MDDr. William Huang specializes in the treatment of all urologic cancers, including cancers of the bladder, kidney, prostate, testis and penis. He has considerable experience in open, robotic and laparoscopic surgical techniques. His surgical expertise includes complete removal of the bladder with urinary reconstruction, treatment of complex kidney tumors and nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy.

A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Huang completed his urology residency training at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center and fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Huang's research has included new chemotherapeutic approaches to bladder cancer, innovative techniques for the treatment of prostate cancer such as high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), and long-term effects of surgery in kidney cancer survivors.

Dr. Huang serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals in the field of urology and oncology and is a member of the American Urological Association, the Society of Urologic Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Surgeons.
