Joseph Alukal, MD

Dr. Joseph Alukal, Director of Reproductive Health and Benign Diseases of the Prostate at NYU Urology, specializes in the treatment of male infertility, male sexual dysfunction and benign prostate disease. A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Dr. Alukal completed his residency at Boston University and his fellowship training in male reproductive medicine and surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Alukal's research interests include genetic causes of male infertility and the identification of new treatments for infertility and BPH. He has received numerous national awards for his research. Dr. Alukal is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction.
