Boris Kobrinsky, MD
Dr. Kobrinsky specializes in oncology and hematology. After graduating summa cum laude (the highest honor) from Columbia University, he received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Kobrinsky completed his residency internal medicine at NYU School of Medicine. Then he went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at NYU School of Medicine, during which he was promoted as a Chief Fellow. Subsequently he was promoted to an Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medcine.
Dr. Kobrinsky has published multiple articles and co-authored five book chapters on various topics in hematology and oncology including heart disease in cancer, new treatment in ovarian cancer, new anti-cancer drug development and thrombosis in cancer.
He is a Director of Hematology and Oncology Education at NYU Cancer Institute where he coordinates teaching for internal medicine residents at NYU Langone Medical Center.
He is lecturing exclusively on Hematology and Oncology for doctors in training at NYU Langone Medical Center where he has full admitting privileges in Hematology, Oncology and Palliative Care. In addition, Dr. Kobrinsky is a NYU Cancer Institute public speaker for the Cancer Educational Series for the community.
Dr. Kobrinsky is a new Director of Hematology and Oncology Practice at NYU Columbus Medical.
